About The Sacramento Toy Dog Meetup Group

A group for ALL small dogs! Our definition of a Toy breed is any dog 35lbs and under. Come join us for "fun in the sun" & a safe place for your wee ones to play with other dogs their size! Donations cover the fee's for this site and so we can supply members with snacks, party prizes, and hand outs.

We meet THREE times a month.

  • On the 2nd Friday of the month we have vendors join us to share their goods and services.
  • On the 3rd Saturday of each month we have "Recipe day" and you get several doggie recipes with your donation.
  • On the last Sunday of the month we have mini obedience classes with handouts, with your donation.
  • Doggie nail clipping available (with donation) every meet-up
  • Also, we have 2-3 pot lucks a year, costume parties, and other holiday events.

Hi All,

This is our first year in photos. I hope you like it! We will be two years old on January 31st 2007. Time sure has flown and our dogs have become fast friends! I hope to add to this page often!

I do not allow any flaming of other members or insulting comments.shock I will delete any comments I feel are not acceptable. If someone continues to cause a problem I will remove them from the group and report them to Meetup.com to have them blocked. Only NICE people are here and I will keep it that way. biggrin

Check us out! don't forget to spread the word!

Here we are having fun with our dogs....No we did not speed up the footage. smile

Bring your children at your own risk

This is a playdate for dogs not children. Some dogs are not comfortable with small children and could bite. Children can also open the gate and let in dogs not allowed on our side of the park. Children running can trip over a dog or step on it and cause broken bones.

Sherry, a member of our group, also organizes the Sacramento Chihuahua group in West Sacramento, so if you would like to meet other chihuahuas, please feel free to join them for this breed specific group.

Pricila is also a great person and organizes the Stocton Small Dog so if you need even more time with your dog at the park, please feel free to join her group as well!
