SOD
We are a huge group with diverse lifestyles!
A small part of the sod was delivered to the small dog area, would you be willing to water 1-2 times a week until it "sets"
We need MANY people several times a day in an attempt to cover the dry We begin with a small area to see if it will take, get water, live, survive.
Thoughts, strategies, challenges, ideas?

We could use all the money the group has to do this (assuming it is accounted for). I go to work late on Monday and get off early on Fridays so I could help then. We need to put the money to good use. There is no point to have it sitting in the bank, it should be used for the group and the dogs.

Joey the puppy, my daughter, and I will help water it when ever we come to the park.

Our schedule is very unpredictable but we would be happy to help when ever we can.

Thanks so much SUS!!! I will send an email out to all the members to get volunteers. I know some of them attend nightly and could be receptive to watering the sod.

So we laid just 10 squares of sod to see if it will grow, we need it watered 3-5 times a day in this heat, the hose is there, water away when you visit please.

Fantastic! The hose turn on is by the message board on the large dog side of the park. It should make the watering easier than scooping from the large containers in the park. If some of you are concerned about venturing on the large dog side. Perhaps some could fill those large tubs for the others.
